4G GPS tracker, model ML300G, with IP65 protection rating, made for real-time monitoring of vehicles and people from a web browser or from the free app. Fitting it could not be simpler: slide a Nano SIM Card (not included) into its slot, switch the tracker on, open the web portal https://www.micodus.net/ or the app and start watching where it goes. A strong magnet holds it in place in seconds. It also works on 2G/3G networks.

The device carries a 2500mAh lithium-ion battery that gives up to 6 days of running time in normal mode and up to 20 days in hibernation mode. That means it can work for a long stretch without being recharged. It is also built to IP65, which makes it proof against splashing water and dust.
The tracker offers a number of functions:
The Overspeed alarm function warns the user when the vehicle goes over the preset speed.
The Geo-fence function lets you draw a virtual zone on the map and get a notification when the vehicle leaves it or enters it.
The Vibration alarm, function picks up crashes or damage to the vehicle automatically, thanks to the built-in 3D acceleration sensor.
The Voice monitor function: the device has a high-sensitivity microphone that lets you listen in on what is going on around it. The user can hear live audio whenever it is needed. Available on the 4G network through VoLTE.
The Movement alarm function sends a warning when the vehicle carrying the device starts moving. The user is alerted straight away in case of theft or unauthorised movement of the vehicle.
The Historical route playback function stores the movements of the last 6 months, which can be searched by date and shown on the map.
The Blind Network with memory function saves the coordinates (5000 points) when there is no internet connection. The saved coordinates are uploaded automatically as soon as network coverage comes back
Low battery alarm: the tracker sends an alarm, through the app or the web platform, when the battery runs low.
The box holds the tracker, the user manual and the USB Type-C cable.
Important! Ambient listening through the Voice monitor function needs a SIM card with data and voice traffic that supports VoLTE. Check with your mobile operator that the technology is available on the SIM you are using. Without that service, ambient listening is not possible while connected to the 4G network.
It has no SOS alarm button.

GNSS: Global Navigation Satellite System, meaning the global satellite navigation systems such as GPS (Global Positioning System), GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and Galileo. These systems use a constellation of satellites to work out where the device is on Earth.
AGPS: Assisted Global Positioning System, a technology that helps GPS along with extra information supplied by a cellular network. That information can include ephemeris data (the predicted position of the satellites) and details of the cellular base stations, which shorten the time needed to acquire the GPS signal and improve the accuracy of the fix.
LBS: Location-Based Services, the position-based services that use a range of technologies to work out where a device is, such as GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular networks. They offer features such as navigation, asset tracking, location information and a good deal more.

GPS data saved where there is no network coverage
With no network connection the device drops off the server, but the GPS navigation data is saved in the built-in memory. Once the network signal is back, the saved data is uploaded to the tracking server.
4G and 2G network coverage
The GPS tracker carries two network technologies: 4G LTE Cat1 and 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE. 4G LTE Cat1 gives a higher data rate and a steadier connection, while 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE is more common and more widespread in many countries, above all developing ones. Having both network technologies in your GPS tracker makes the device work with more of the telecom networks around the world, for steady and reliable operation.
Real-time tracking on Google Maps
Built on GNSS + LBS + AGPS, this device has no limit on tracking distance. You can follow your car in real time on Google Maps wherever you are.
Historical route playback
The MiCODUS platform records and keeps the movement data of the last six months, which can be looked up by date and shown on the map.
Operating modes
It can work in three different modes: Tracking mode, Power saving mode and Hibernation mode. The three modes help stretch the battery life.
Data compensation function
When the vehicle turns, the device uploads GPS data that reflects the change of direction accurately. The position data uploaded is more detailed, which makes route queries more precise.
IP65 protection rating

Voice Monitor function
The tracker has a high-sensitivity microphone that lets you hear, through your phone, what is happening around it, clearly and distinctly.
Several alarm functions
Vibration: the tracker has a 3D acceleration sensor that lets it send an alarm, through the app or the web platform, if the vehicle is hit or damaged. It works while the vehicle is parked.
Movement: the tracker lets you set an area within which the vehicle may be moved. If a limit of 500 metres is set, for instance, and the vehicle is taken outside it, the device sends an SOS alarm to the preset phone numbers. That way you are warned at once if the vehicle is stolen or moved without permission.
Geo-fence: lets you draw a virtual zone around a specific geographic position. This zone is called the “safety circle” and marks the area you want to keep the device or the person being tracked inside. When the GPS device enters or leaves the zone, the user gets a notification by SMS. Geo-fencing is very useful for keeping an eye on people or things that should not leave a given area. Parents, for instance, can set a geo-fence around their children’s school so they are warned when the children leave the school grounds. In the same way, companies can use geo-fences to watch over their vehicles or their equipment.

Fleet management, single device management and creating a new account
The web platform micodus.net and the free app that goes with it handle both a single GPS device and a whole fleet of them. They let you follow the position and the activity of several devices at once, in real time, for full control over your fleet.
To use the platform and the app you have to register.
To manage a fleet, register every device you want to track by IMEI/ID and then create an account with a User Name and a Password, then add the trackers you created earlier.
To manage a single device, it is enough to register with the IMEI/ID code of the device and a Password.
