Description
This version of the metal micro gearmotor differs from the others because it has an additional output shaft (diameter 1 mm, length about 4.5 mm) that protrudes from the rear and rotates at the same speed as the front shaft. Thanks to this rear shaft, it is possible to add a magnetic encoder that provides motor speed and position. The metal micro gearmotor operates at 6 Vdc, has a reduction ratio of 297.92:1, and a no-load speed of 100 rpm. The front shaft is metal, D-shaped, 9 mm long; the brass front plate has two threaded holes for mounting M1.6 screws (1.6 mm diameter, 0.35 mm thread pitch). It weighs about 10 g. Direction of rotation depends on polarity. Particularly suitable for building robots. Various accessories are available for these gearmotors (see related products). Warning!
