RC servo pulse to digital converter

This small board converts the pulses of an RC radio control (the modelling kind) into on/off signals

SKU 8218-RCSWITCHEAN 8219671085533Item type: Assembled

Description

This small board converts the pulses of an RC radio control (the one used in model making) into on/off signals. You can then control LEDs, relays, or devices mounted, for example, on a drone. The board measures the width of the incoming RC pulses and compares them with a user-configurable threshold (with ±64 μs of hysteresis) to decide whether to activate the MOSFET. The default threshold setting is about 1700 μs. It features a MOSFET that can be used to drive loads up to about 3 A with VCC at 5 V, an output that indicates the presence of a valid RC signal (with a frequency from 10 to 330 Hz and a pulse width from 0.5 to 2.5 ms), and one that indicates the MOSFET status. Control logic supply: from 2.5 Vdc to 5.5 Vdc, load supply: max. 30 Vdc, dimensions (mm): about 15x10x3.
