Description

Raspberry Pi Pico W is a microcontroller board built around the Raspberry Pi RP2040 chip, which carries a dual-core Arm Cortex-M0+ processor with 264 KB of on-chip RAM and supports up to 16 MB of Flash.
The board was designed to be cheap and flexible, and the “W” in the name refers to its 2.4 GHz radio interface, which makes it a sound alternative to the ESP8266 and ESP32 modules for IoT applications. The Pico is programmed over USB in C/C++ or MicroPython and offers flexible digital interfaces including I2C, SPI and programmable I/O (PIO), opening up a wide range of applications.WLAN support comes from an Infineon CYW43439 chip. Thanks to its flexibility, the RP2040 can be used in all sorts of applications, from controlling a household appliance to driving a lit-up display.
