Description

The 2C53P is a compact, multifunction solution designed for electronics technicians, maintenance engineers, designers and makers who need a portable yet complete instrument for measurement, analysis and testing. In a single handheld device, this instrument integrates a two-channel digital oscilloscope, a high-resolution digital multimeter and a DDS signal generator, providing a versatile measurement platform suited to both bench use in the lab and work in the field.

Thanks to its portable format, touchscreen display and built-in battery, the 2C53P handles a wide range of applications, from electronic diagnostics to prototyping, from maintenance to technical training.

Two-channel oscilloscope

At the heart of the 2C53P is the digital oscilloscope with two independent channels, featuring bandwidth up to 50 MHz and a sampling rate of up to 250 MSa/s. These characteristics allow analogue and digital signals to be captured and displayed with good accuracy, making it suitable for analysing microcontroller circuits, PWM signals, switching power supplies and control systems.
Several trigger modes are available (Auto, Normal, Single) along with analysis functions such as automatic measurements, cursors, XY mode and FFT analysis, useful for studying the waveform, frequency and spectral content of the signal. The ability to save and recall waveforms allows further analysis or documentation of the tests carried out.

True RMS digital multimeter

Alongside the oscilloscope function, the 2C53P integrates a 19,999-count True RMS digital multimeter, capable of measuring DC and AC voltage, DC and AC current, resistance, capacitance, continuity, diode testing and temperature (with probe).
The multimeter provides stable, reliable numeric readings, making it ideal for quick checks, testing and routine inspections, both as a primary instrument and as a complement to the oscilloscope’s graphical measurements. True RMS technology ensures accurate measurement even with non-sinusoidal waveforms.

Built-in signal generator

Rounding out the feature set, the 2C53P includes a DDS signal generator capable of producing waveforms up to 10 MHz, with adjustable amplitude and duty cycle. Several standard waveforms are available, including sine, square, triangle and sawtooth, useful for testing analogue and digital circuits, simulating real-world signals and verifying the behaviour of devices under test.
The built-in generator allows functional tests to be carried out without resorting to external instrumentation, improving operational efficiency especially in maintenance or field-work contexts.

Interface and usability

The device features a 4.3″ IPS touchscreen display, ensuring good readability of waveforms and measurement parameters. The interface is designed for intuitive use, with clear menus and quick access to the main functions.
The combination of touch control and a compact layout makes the 2C53P suitable for users who need operational speed, such as service technicians or installers.

Power supply and portability

The 2C53P is powered by a built-in 4000 mAh rechargeable battery, rechargeable via USB-C. This makes it particularly suited to mobile use, field work, teaching demonstrations or jobs in environments where a fixed bench setup is not always available.
Its compact design and low weight make it easy to carry in a tool bag or work backpack.

Areas of use

The 2C53P is suitable for:

  • electronic diagnostics and maintenance
  • testing and debugging of analogue and digital prototypes
  • repair of electronic boards
  • checking power supplies and switching signals
  • maker projects and advanced hobby electronics
  • teaching labs and technical training
  • technical support and field work

The 2C53P stands as a practical, efficient all-in-one instrument, reducing the need to use several separate tools. By integrating an oscilloscope, multimeter and signal generator into a single portable device, it is a reliable solution for anyone working with electronics who wants a good balance of functionality, compactness and versatility.
