4G GPS tracker, model ML100G, with IP65 protection rating, for real-time monitoring of vehicles and people through a web browser or the free APP. Installation could not be simpler: put a Nano SIM Card (not included) in its slot, switch the tracker on, register on the web portal https://www.micodus.net/, or in the APP, and start viewing movements. It also works on 2G/3G networks.

The device has a built-in 1500mAh lithium-ion battery giving up to 4 days of runtime in normal operating mode and up to 15 days in hibernation mode. This means it can run for a long time without needing a recharge. It is also built to IP65 protection rating, which makes it resistant to water splashes and dust.
The tracker offers a wide range of functions:
Overspeed alarm function, which warns the user when the vehicle goes over the preset speed.
Geo-fence function, which lets you set a virtual area on the map and get a notification when the vehicle leaves or enters that area.
Vibration alarm function, which automatically detects accidents or damage to the vehicle thanks to the built-in 3D acceleration sensor.
Voice monitor function: the device has a high-sensitivity microphone that allows ambient listening around the device. This means the user can listen to live audio whenever needed. Available on 4G networks through VoLTE.
Movement alarm function: it sends an alert when the vehicle carrying the device is moving. This means the user is warned at once in the event of theft or unauthorised movement of the vehicle.
Historical route playback function, which stores the journeys of the last 6 months so they can be searched by date and shown on the map.
Blind Network with memory function, which saves the coordinates (5000 points) when there is no internet connection. The stored coordinates are uploaded automatically as soon as network coverage comes back
Low battery alarm: the tracker sends an alarm, through the APP or the WEB platform, when the battery is low.
The package includes the tracker, the user manual and the USB Type-C cable.
Important! Ambient listening through the Voice monitor function needs a SIM card with data and voice traffic compatible with VoLTE. Check with your mobile operator that this technology is available on the SIM you are using. Without that service, ambient listening would not be possible while connected to the 4G network.
It has no SOS alarm button.

GNSS: Global Navigation Satellite System, meaning the global satellite navigation systems such as GPS (Global Positioning System), GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) and Galileo. These systems use a constellation of satellites to work out the position of the device on Earth.
AGPS: Assisted Global Positioning System, a technology that assists GPS using extra information supplied by a cellular network. That information can include ephemeris data (the predicted position of the satellites) and details of the cellular base stations, which can speed up GPS signal acquisition and improve positioning accuracy.
LBS: Location-Based Services, meaning position-based services that use a range of technologies to work out where a device is, such as GPS, Wi-Fi and cellular networks. These services provide features such as navigation, asset tracking, location information and much more.

Compact, light and very easy to carry
1500 mAh battery
The tracker has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery of 3.7V / 1500mAh, giving up to 4 days of runtime in tracking mode and up to 15 days in hibernation mode (Hibernation mode).
GPS data storage for areas with no network coverage
With no network connection the device disconnects from the server, but the GPS navigation data is saved in the built-in memory. Once the network signal is back, the stored data is uploaded to the tracking server.
4G and 2G network coverage
The GPS tracker carries two network technologies: 4G LTE Cat1 and 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE. 4G LTE Cat1 gives a higher data rate and a more stable connection, while 2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE is more common and widespread in many countries, above all in developing ones. Using both network technologies in your GPS tracker makes the device compatible with the telecom networks available in different countries, for stable and reliable operation.
Real-time tracking through Google Maps
Based on the GNSS + LBS + AGPS system, this device has no limit on tracking distance. You can watch your car in real time on Google Maps wherever you are.
Historical route playback
The MiCODUS platform records and keeps the journey data of the last six months, which can easily be looked up by date and shown on the map.
Operating modes
It can work in three different modes: Tracking mode, Power saving mode and Hibernation mode. The three operating modes help extend battery life.
Data compensation function
When a turn is taken, the device uploads GPS data to reflect the details of the change of direction accurately. The uploaded positioning data is more detailed, for greater accuracy in route queries.

Voice Monitor function
The tracker has a high-sensitivity microphone that lets you listen, through your mobile phone, to what is going on around it clearly and sharply.
Multiple alarm functions
Vibration: the tracker has a built-in 3D acceleration sensor that lets it send an alarm, through the APP or the WEB platform, in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle. It works when the vehicle is parked.
Movement: the tracker lets you set an area within which the vehicle may be moved. If, for example, a 500 metre limit is set and the vehicle is moved outside it, the device sends an SOS alarm to the preset telephone numbers. This means you are warned promptly if the vehicle is stolen or moved without authorisation.
Geo-fence: lets you set a virtual area around a specific geographical position. This area is called a “safety circle” and is the area within which you want to keep the monitored device or person. When the GPS device enters or leaves the area, the user gets a notification by SMS. The geo-fence function is very useful for keeping track of people or objects that should not leave a given area. Parents, for example, can set a geo-fence around their children’s school so they are warned when the children leave the school grounds. In the same way, companies can use geo-fences to keep track of their vehicles or their equipment.

Fleet management, single device management and creating a new account
The web platform micodus.net and the free app that goes with it can manage a single GPS device or a whole fleet efficiently. They allow real-time monitoring of the position and activity of several devices at once, giving total control over your fleet.
To use the platform and the app you have to register.
To manage a fleet, register every device to be tracked by its IMEI/ID, then create an account with a User Name and a Password and add the trackers you created earlier.
To manage a single device, simply register by entering the device IMEI/ID code and a Password.
