Description

Breakout board in XBee form factor carrying the Texas Instruments CC2541 Bluetooth 4.0 (Low Energy) module. It is especially suited to the “Bluetooth base shield” (not included – see related products), designed specifically to take three different types of Bluetooth module (HC-05, BLECC2541, BLE40). Size of the breakout board with the Bluetooth module fitted (mm): 33x25x10.

CC2541 Bluetooth module technical specifications
Bluetooth 4.0 (Low Energy) module compliant with the 2.4 GHz ISM band, master/slave operation with transparent data transmission, based on the Texas Instruments CC2541 chip with 256K flash memory and 8K RAM. It can be driven with simple AT commands (over the UART) or programmed with custom applications. Ideal for projects that need a Bluetooth link, for example between a microcontroller and a PC. Supply voltage between 2 V and 3.6 Vdc.Dimensions (mm): 27x13x1.6, weight: 5 grams. Please note: SMT mounting.
