Description

This high-brightness LED traffic light module is perfect for building miniature traffic lights and for educational and scientific projects. Compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi, it has three separately controllable LEDs (red, yellow and green), ideal for road signals and light-based alert systems.  
Thanks to its high brightness, this LED traffic light module is ideal for building working miniature traffic lights, for school scientific research projects, and for creating analogue road signal systems, educational demonstrations and light-based alert systems. Compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi, it integrates easily into a wide range of projects. It has three individually controllable LEDs (red, yellow and green).
Technical specifications
  • Operating voltage: 3.3V ~ 5V
  • Interface: common cathode, separate control of red, yellow and green. Each LED emits a single colour.
Connections to Arduino
  • GND on the traffic light module -> GND on Arduino
  • R (Red LED) on the traffic light module -> digital pin 2 on Arduino
  • Y (Yellow LED) on the traffic light module -> digital pin 3 on Arduino
  • G (Green LED) on the traffic light module -> digital pin 4 on Arduino
