SD card shield data logger with DS1307 RTC
SKU 1686-SDRTCSHIELDEAN 8219671121729Item type: Assembled, Shields & add-onsArduino, Arduino compatible
Description
Shield with slots for SD Card memory and RTC with DS1307. Ideal for IoT (Internet of Things) projects, it offers Arduino the ability to record sensor data (e.g., temperature, time, humidity, current, power, light intensity, etc.) on an SD card with minimal setup. With the Arduino (SD) library, you can save data to any SD card formatted FAT16 or FAT32. The RTC (Real Time Clock) DS1307 can be used to save all your data with the current time, so you know exactly what happened and when! It features a small prototyping area, two configurable LEDs, status LED for power, and a reset button. The package also includes a CR1220 battery.
Technical Specifications
- Works with SD cards formatted FAT16 or FAT32. The 3.3V level adapter allows very fast reading or writing and prevents damage to the SD card.
- Real-time clock (RTC), the DS1307 chip keeps time even when Arduino is disconnected. The backup battery lasts for years.
- Libraries and example code are available for both SD (up to 32 GB) and RTC.
- Prototyping area for soldering connectors, circuits, or sensors.
- Two configurable/programmable status LEDs.
- Dimensions (mm): 68.7×53.3×11
