SKU 7100-FT1794KItem type: Assembled, KitAmplifiers & mixers, Educational kits
Description
Audio amplifier, class A mono, designed to deliver high sound quality from an extremely simple circuit. The design uses only four transistors and a handful of passive components, which guarantees stability, reliability and excellent signal linearity.
The amplifier runs on a single 12 to 30 Vdc supply and delivers up to 10 W RMS into an 8 ohm load. The Single Ended Push-Pull output stage with two NPN transistors drives the load effectively while keeping the sound typical of class A, prized for its musicality and naturalness.
The very low distortion (about 0.1%) and the extremely wide frequency response from 20 Hz to 200 kHz give clean, detailed and dynamic audio reproduction.
The circuit also has a dedicated VU meter output, handy for connecting an analogue meter to display the audio signal level.
Soldering required for assembly. The kit is supplied complete with instructions.
