Description
| Galvanically isolated current measuring transformer, for use wherever you need to sense current draw without electrical contact with the low-voltage circuit. The secondary carries a current proportional to the one feeding the primary. The primary/secondary current ratio is 2000:1, so a current of 5 amperes in the primary gives 2.5 milliamperes in the secondary across a 100 ohm load. Insulation from the measuring circuit is guaranteed up to 3,000 volts, as required by the safety standards for mains-connected equipment. |
