Remote alarm and remote control system based on the SIMCom A7682E GSM/4G module, designed to be integrated with any burglar alarm system. Equipped with the anti-jammer function, this device offers an advanced solution for ensuring maximum security.

The system can be used both in traditional mode, similar to the TDG133_4G, and in anti-jammer mode, which requires the use of two units. This makes it possible to detect any interference or tampering with the radio system and to intervene promptly. In case of problems, the second GSM unit will send the alarm messages.

The system can be configured via SMS or locally via PC, using the optional FT782M interface. The system’s power supply can range from 9 to 32 Vdc, with a maximum current draw of 1 A.

The package includes the device, already assembled and tested, fitted with the A7682E GSM/4G module, and a stick-format GSM antenna with connecting cable.

Important! To access the call service in areas covered by 4G on the LTE network, you need a SIM card with data and voice plans compatible with VoLTE. Check with your mobile carrier to make sure this technology is available for the SIM in use. Without this service, remote control would only work in SMS mode.

Remote Alarm
It uses the GSM network for activations and controls. Configurable with a simple phone call, it has two relay outputs (230 Vac – 10 A) with monostable or bistable operation, and two optoisolated alarm inputs. Up to 7 numbers can be stored for sending alarms. All settings are done via SMS. Power supply between 9-32 Vdc, maximum current draw 1 A. The product is supplied already assembled and tested
Anti-Jammer
N.B. 2 units of the TDG138_4G are required to use the Anti-Jammer function

The anti-jammer creates a point-to-point GSM connection between two devices that stay in contact via periodic calls: loss of communication is treated as an alarm condition. This way, if the master is prevented from calling, the slave starts alerting all stored phone numbers.
To maintain communication, the master calls the slave, and the slave rejects the call. The slave treats this situation as “successful communication”, since only the slave could have rejected the call. Since no connection is ever established, this procedure has zero running cost, provided that all call forwarding to another number or to voicemail is disabled on the slave GSM’s SIM.

The SIMCom 4G Module
The GSM/4G module labeled A7682E is manufactured by SIMCom: it is essentially a Quad-band GSM/GPRS and 4G/LTE-compatible cellular module, without a display, microphone, speaker or keypad, operating on the 850/900/1800/1900MHz frequencies, usable both for Internet access and for voice communication, standard phone calls and SMS.

It comes in a 19.6×19.6×2.4 mm LCC+LGA-type package, with the contacts located underneath the body, which means it requires hot-air reflow soldering or dedicated reflow soldering machines.
The SIMCom A7682E is an LTE Cat 1 module that supports LTE-FDD/GSM/GPRS/EDGE wireless communication modes; more precisely, LTE-FDD B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20. It supports a maximum downlink speed of 10 Mbps and an uplink speed of 5 Mbps. In EDGE mode, speeds are up to 236.8 kbps Uplink/Downlink, and in GPRS up to 85.6 kbps Uplink/Downlink.

The A7682E uses a form factor compatible with the SIM800C, SIM868 series (GSM/GPRS modules), enabling easy migration from 2G to LTE devices and greatly simplifying design.
The A7682E module supports the built-in network protocols TCP, IP, IPV4, IPV6, Multi-PDP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, as well as the SSL communication security protocol.

It has drivers for the main operating systems (USB drivers for Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, Linux and Android). It has RIL support for Android 5.0/6.0/7.0/8.0/9.0 and firmware updates via USB/FOTA.
The AT commands are compatible with the SIM800 series modules, so both the standard AT commands and most of the SIMCom enhanced AT proprietary command set.
In addition, the A7682E integrates the main standard industrial interfaces, with strong expandability, including numerous interfaces such as UART, USB 2.0, I²C-Bus, GPIO, suitable for major IoT applications such as telematics, surveillance devices, industrial routers and remote diagnostics, etc. The module runs on a DC voltage of between 3.4 and 4.2 V (typically 3.8V) and draws a maximum of 0.8 A while transmitting.

  • The device does not respond to messages. When sending the message, the LEDs give no indication that the message was received
    Check that there is credit on the remote-control SIM. If there is credit, disable RCS chat from your smartphone. To disable RCS chat, go to “Messages > Message Settings > Char RCS” (If this menu cannot be found, refer to your phone’s manual to disable the feature).
