Infrared Proximity Sensor

Proximity sensor made up of an infrared emitter modulated by a precise signal and a receiver based on a photodiode sensitive to the emitted band

SKU 2846-IRFOTOSENSEAN 8219671082464Item type: Assembled

Description

Infrared proximity sensor, designed to detect objects from 3 to 80 cm away, reliably and quickly.
This sensor pairs a modulated infrared emitter with a sensitive receiving photodiode, for accurate detection that is immune to external disturbance such as ambient light or other unwanted emissions.
The signal is processed in less than 2 ms, which makes this sensor perfect for applications that need a fast, stable response.

With rugged plastic construction and reliable operation between -25°C and +55°C, it is ideal for electronics projects, robotics and automation applications.
