Infrared sensor with amplifier, demodulator and filter tuned to 38 kHz. Active low output, supply voltage between 2.5 and 5.5 volts, current draw 5 mA, operating temperature: from -25°C to +85°C. It can be used as a presence and proximity sensor, as an obstacle detector in robotics, and so on.
