Description

The Iono Pi RTC Server consists of the Iono Pi board with RTC 2.0, a Raspberry Pi 4B with 2GB, and a compatible “DIN rail” enclosure. It features four outputs driven by power relays (6 A at 250 V), a Microchip ATECC608A authentication chip, seven configurable digital I/O, and support for 1-Wire and Wiegand. Rounding out the board’s features is a power supply providing up to 4 A of current available on the Raspberry Pi’s 5-volt pins (powering Strato Pi at 24 VDC), two 0-30 V analog inputs on the external terminal block plus two 0-3 V inputs on the internal connector, and two LED indicators (one for power, the second controllable via GPIO).

The field of application ranges from data acquisition to automation system control, access control, hotel management solutions, environmental control and many others, both in professional and residential settings, and technical alarm monitoring. Software development follows the usual approach for Raspberry Pi software development, made easier by an ever-growing number of frameworks and dedicated applications.

The goal of this product is to act as “middleware” in advanced automation applications, i.e. able to acquire data from automation systems, including existing ones, and present it through an advanced, remotely accessible Human-Machine interface. The ultimate purpose of architectures of this kind is the ability to control and interact remotely with automation systems.
