Description
Dependable, accurate and rugged: this passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor with built-in dusk switch is the ideal way to switch lights or electrical devices on automatically, indoors as well as outdoors. Its IP65 rating makes it perfect for places exposed to dust and damp, such as entrances, driveways, garages, yards or sheds.
It picks up people passing up to 12 metres away over a wide 180° angle and switches an electrical load on automatically for a time adjustable from 10 seconds to 15 minutes. It handles resistive loads up to 1200 W and inductive loads up to 300 W.
The dusk sensor, adjustable from 3 to 2000 Lux, lets you set it to work only in low light, avoiding pointless switching during the day and saving energy.
Easy to install at a height of between 1.8 and 2.5 metres, it draws very little power (0.5 W) and is compact and light. An efficient, safe and sensible choice for lighting automation.
