Description

Proximity sensor consisting of an LM393 voltage comparator chip, an infrared transmitter and receiver, a trimmer for sensitivity adjustment, digital output (0 and 1), and two status LEDs for power and output signal. It can detect an obstacle at a distance between 2 and 30 cm (depending on the obstacle’s color) with a detection angle of about 25°. Power supply: 3.3 V to 5 V, board dimensions (mm): 31x15x8. Particularly suitable for use as a proximity sensor for robots or other devices.
