Description

Fully programmable coin acceptor capable of identifying up to 6 different coin types by using thickness, diameter, and fall time. It features a coin return button, serial or pulse-width output with selectable baud rate, and uses only 2 buttons and a 7-segment display for programming. After programming the acceptor, simply insert a coin and read the serial output to know its value as binary bytes. All you need to operate the acceptor is a pocket full of coins, a 12 Vdc power supply, and a container or something similar to catch the accepted coins.

The acceptor also features a parallel operating mode that allows each coin group (up to 6 groups) to be identified by a pin on the acceptor. When a coin is inserted, the open-collector output for the corresponding coin group pin is activated briefly (100 ms).

Note: The 10-pin flat cable (5+5 pins) for parallel operation is not included in the package.
