This SOS 4G alarm system is made for elderly and vulnerable people, bringing immediate help in an emergency.
The main unit, together with a waterproof portable remote control, lets the user call for help with the emergency buttons, the SOS pull cord or voice commands.
Up to three contacts can be stored: the system automatically sends alert SMS messages and calls the first number on the list. If the first contact does not answer, the device moves on to the second and then to the third, always keeping clear, uninterrupted two-way audio.
The built-in backup battery keeps the unit running for up to 5 hours even during a mains failure.
Easy to install and to configure remotely by SMS, with no app required, the device also offers extras such as tamper protection and a handy doorbell function. An essential answer for anyone looking for safety and peace of mind in daily life. The system can be expanded with a PIR sensor so that the SOS system is triggered when the sensor detects an intrusion.IMPORTANT NOTE: this device needs a nano SIM with voice and SMS traffic and an active VoLTE service. SIM card not included.

What happens when the alarm goes off
When an alarm is raised, before starting the call cycle the telecare system sends an SMS containing the text “SOS Alarm” to every phone number set to receive SMS messages.
The phone calls are then made in the stored order.Here are some of the possible situations:
  • The first person on the list answers (this also applies if the voicemail answers): the alerting procedure ends here, because the alarm is considered delivered.
  • The first person on the list does not answer (voicemail on no-answer is disabled): at the end of the first unanswered call a second one is made. If there is no answer to the second call either, the telecare system calls the second number on the list, and then the third in the same way, depending on whether the person called answers or not.
  • The person receives the call but rejects it (voicemail on rejection is disabled): the following numbers on the list are called, and the procedure ends or carries on according to the cases described above.
