The Raspberry Pi Pico Primer kit includes a wide range of sensors and actuators, all fitted with standard Mabee connectors (Grove compatible), for an immediate plug&play experience.
Every module in the kit comes with detailed tutorials on how to use it with MicroPython, giving users everything they need to start working with the Raspberry Pi Pico straight away. The Pico can also be used with Arduino by following the instructions on how to use Raspberry Pi Pico with Arduino. At the heart of this kit is the Raspberry Pi Pico, a small, fast and versatile board built around the RP2040 chip designed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation in the United Kingdom. The RP2040 features a dual-core Arm Cortex-M0 + processor with 264 KB of internal RAM and supports up to 16 MB of Flash. It provides a number of GPIOs including I2C, SPI and other special functions. Programmable in C and MicroPython, it can be used in a wide range of applications, from controlling a household appliance to driving a light display.

  • Ultrasonic distance sensor: a sensor that uses ultrasound to measure the distance to surrounding objects, useful for detection and navigation projects.
