Description

Reflective coupler from Vishay Telefunken, consisting of an infrared emitting diode and a phototransistor. The beam emitted by the transmitter reflects off the surface in front of it and strikes the receiver, turning on the phototransistor. Used in the RUN robot project, published in ElettronicaIn issue 111, and the FOX robot (ElettronicaIn issue 112).
