This module uses the TEMT6000 light sensor for ambient light detection. With peak sensitivity at 570 nanometres and a wide 60-degree acceptance angle, the sensor measures the amount of visible light, excluding the infrared (IR) spectrum.

Description

This module uses the TEMT6000 light sensor, designed to detect the light in the surrounding environment. With peak sensitivity at 570 nanometres and a wide 60-degree detection angle, the sensor concentrates on visible light, filtering out the infrared (IR) spectrum, much like the human eye.
