Three-Cup Wind Speed Sensor with 0-5V Analogue Output, IP68, 10–30V
SKU 8300-WINDAN05EAN 8219671108492Item type: AssembledWeather sensors
Description
| Wind speed sensor with a three-cup rotor, ideal for continuous wind speed measurement. It runs on a 10 to 30V DC supply and provides an analogue voltage output (0–5V) that is easy to interface with microcontrollers, data acquisition systems and PLCs, returning a signal proportional to the wind speed measured.
The high-strength polycarbonate housing protects it from impact, corrosion and weather, which makes it perfect for long-term outdoor installations. The IP68 protection rating means it is waterproof and sealed against dust and moisture. Thanks to its high-sensitivity bearings and low rotational inertia, the sensor responds quickly to changes in airflow, giving stable, reliable readings even at low speeds (from 0.2 m/s upwards). Ideal for weather stations, IoT applications, wind power installations, precision agriculture and environmental monitoring systems.
