Description

Fishino UNO Rev.2 is a board based on the ATmega328pb with WiFi connectivity, a real time clock and a microSD card reader. It works as a WiFi station, as an access point, or as both at once. It has an extra offset header that gets around the well-known incompatibility between Arduino and stripboard. Fishino UNO lets you build, for instance, home automation systems you can manage over the Internet from a Web browser, portable data loggers that connect and upload their data as soon as they come into WiFi coverage, or robots you can drive over the network and that send back the readings from their sensors. The CR1220 lithium battery and the microSD card are not included.

  • 100% compatible with Arduino UNO
    • Fishino UNO is built on the Arduino platform, keeping all of its features unchanged and adding new ones. That means every Arduino shield and library works with Fishino UNO exactly as before.
  • Can run from a rechargeable battery
    • Fishino Uno Rev.2 has an additional LiPo battery power section with its own charger, so it can be used in portable equipment running entirely on its own.
  • On-board WiFi module
    • Fishino UNO carries a WiFi module with outstanding performance, whose software we have modified specifically for it. With Fishino you can then join an existing WiFi network or create a new one.
  • On-board MicroSD card interface
    • Being able to use an ordinary microSD memory card lets Fishino UNO handle huge amounts of data and work as a small web server or a portable data logger.
  • On-board RTC (Real Time Clock) module with lithium backup battery
    • The built-in RTC (Real Time Clock) module, backed up by a small lithium cell, lets Fishino UNO keep the right time even when the power goes off.
  • Uprated 3.3 V power section
    • A careful choice of components made it possible to uprate the 3.3 Volt power section, so a larger number of shields and add-ons running at that voltage can be connected.
  • Works with breadboards and stripboard
    • The extra offset header, wired in parallel with the original one, lets Fishino UNO sit on breadboards and lets stripboard be used to prototype shields, while still keeping compatibility with existing shields
