2-Channel DC Motor Speed Control Shield
SKU 1606-SPEEDSHIELDEAN 8219671113038Item type: Assembled, Robotics & gaming, Shields & add-onsArduino, Arduino compatible
Description
Shield for Arduino based on the dual full-bridge driver L298P, capable of driving 2 DC motors (or one stepper motor) with a supply voltage between 4.8 and 24 VDC and a current up to 2 A (2.5 A peak). The board, compatible with Arduino Uno, Arduino Mega, etc., features a terminal block for connecting two motors and male/female pin strips that allow other boards to be stacked in cascade. Power for the motors can be supplied externally (from 4.8 to 24 VDC up to 2 A (2.5 A peak)) or directly from the Arduino board. Each of the shield’s two output channels can supply a maximum current of 2 A, allowing you to drive two 2 A DC motors or a bipolar stepper motor drawing 2 A per phase. It also features a (white) connector for 1 RC servo, buzzer, reset button, Bluetooth connector, ultrasonic sensor connector, RGB LED strip connector, and 6 analog/digital pins available with +5V and GND through 3 strip connectors.
