Driver for 1 DC Motor, 25 A – 2 Control Modes
SKU 1686-MD25HVEAN 8219671108416Item type: AssembledControl electronics
Description
The MD25HV is a power driver with bidirectional control for 1 DC motor with a supply voltage between 7 VDC and 58 VDC. It can support a continuous current of 25 A without the need for an additional heat sink. It features a terminal block for motor and power connections, a 5 VDC output (max 250 mA) to power an external controller or other device, two test buttons that allow quick and convenient motor testing without connecting a controller, inputs for external control (PWM and DIR), and status LEDs for Power, Error, and Running state.
PWM / DIR inputs are compatible with 1.8V, 3.3V, 5V, 12V, and 24V logic (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, PLC, etc.). It is compatible with a wide range of controllers such as: Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Fishino, PLC, etc. It can also be controlled directly without any programming; just plug in the included potentiometer to adjust speed and the included switch to select rotation direction.
It features overcurrent protection that prevents the driver from being damaged when the motor stalls or an oversized motor is connected; when the motor tries to draw more current than the driver can support, the motor current is limited to the maximum threshold. Particularly suitable for robotics, automation, model making, etc.
Warning! The power input has no protection against reverse polarity. Connecting the battery with reversed polarity will instantly damage the motor driver.
Two control modes
