Description
| Based on the RFM95W transceiver module at 868 MHz, this shield for Arduino, Fishino and compatible boards (not included – see related products) provides long-range bidirectional data transmission using LoRa™ technology. The shield comes with a length of solid wire as its antenna, but an SMA connector is also fitted so an external antenna such as the 2846-ANT868SMA (not included – see related products) can be used. It also carries a reset button and three jumpers to select which digital I/O pins of the RFM95W module (DIO1, DIO2, DIO5) are connected to the Arduino pins. It is ideal for remote controls, smart meters, home automation, personal loggers, wireless sensor networks, wireless PC peripherals and similar applications.
