Description

Similar to the EM100 module but with more compact dimensions (35 x 27.5 x 9.1mm). The hardware includes a 10BaseT Ethernet port (without magnetic filters), a serial port (CMOS level), some additional general-purpose I/O lines, and a processor whose firmware performs the “bridge” functions between the Ethernet port and the serial port. The Ethernet terminal can be connected directly to an RJ45 jack with filters, while on the “serial” side a direct connection is possible with microcontrollers, microprocessors, UARTs, etc.
