Arduino MKR WIFI 1010
SKU 7300-MKRWIFI1010EAN 7630049200258Item type: Assembled, BoardArduino
Description
Arduino MKR WIFI 1010 is designed to speed up and simplify the prototyping of IoT applications based on Wi-Fi connectivity, thanks to the flexibility of the ESP32 module from U-BLOX NINA-W10 and its low power consumption.
The board is composed of three main blocks:
- SAMD21 Cortex-M0+ 32bit low power ARM MCU
- U-BLOX NINA-W10 Series Low Power 2.4GHz IEEE® 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi
- ECC508 CryptoAuthentication
It features a SAMD21 Cortex-M0+ 32bit low power microcontroller, a rich set of I/O interfaces, Wi-Fi with a Cryptochip for secure communications via SHA-256 encryption, and the ease of use of the Arduino software (IDE) for code development and programming. All these features make this board the ideal choice for battery-powered IoT (Internet of Things) projects with a compact form factor. Arduino MKR WIFI 1010 can be powered using 3.7-volt Li-Po batteries or external 5 volts, recharging the Li-Po battery while in operation with external power. The switch from one power source to another is performed automatically. The USB port can be used to provide power (5 V) to the board.
Arduino MKR WIFI 1010 is able to operate with or without the Li-Po battery connected and has limited power consumption.
Warning! The MKR WIFI 1010 board operates at 3.3 V. The maximum voltage tolerable on I/O pins is 3.3 volts. Applying voltages higher than 3.3 V to any I/O pin could damage the board. Bidirectional communication with 5-volt devices requires a level shifter.
