Description

The Arduino MEGA2560 R3 Starter Kit is the perfect kit for anyone who wants to start programming in the Arduino language. Ideal for makers, students and hobbyists, the kit includes the MEGA2560 R3 development board based on the ATmega2560, compatible with the Arduino MEGA2560 R3, and all the components you need to start experimenting and learning with this board.

If you are a maker, a student or a hobbyist who wants to start programming with Arduino, the basic MEGA2560 R3 Kit is the right choice for you.

The MEGA2560 R3 board
The Mega2560 R3 board is the ideal choice for projects that call for power and versatility. Built around the Atmega2560 microcontroller, this board offers a wide range of features that make it indispensable for electronics enthusiasts and professionals alike.

With a full 54 digital inputs/outputs, 14 of which can be used as PWM outputs, and 16 analogue inputs, the Mega2560 R3 board gives you plenty of connectivity and control. You can connect numerous sensors, actuators and external devices to build complex, interactive projects.

The board has 4 UART ports (serial ports) for communicating with other devices, so connectivity is never a problem. It also has a 16 MHz crystal oscillator for accurate timing.

The built-in USB connection makes interfacing with a computer straightforward, so programming and monitoring are quick and easy. Alternatively, you can power the board from an AC/DC adapter or a battery for standalone operation.

With 256 kB of Flash memory, 8 kB of which is used by the bootloader, and 8 kB of SRAM, you have enough room for your code and your data. The board also has 4 kB of EEPROM for storing information permanently.
