Description

The TSG6020 is a 2-channel DDS signal generator designed to give you a complete platform for generating and analysing signals in electronics. It packs in the advanced functions normally found on bench instruments while keeping a compact, easily portable format, which makes it suitable both for laboratory use and for work in the field.

Against generators in the same class, the TSG6020 stands out for its two independent channels, something compact devices do not always offer. That allows two signals to be generated at the same time, useful for comparative tests, complex modulations or simulations of real systems.

Thanks to DDS (Direct Digital Synthesis) technology, the device delivers stable, accurate waveform generation, with frequency resolution down to 1 µHz and good stability over time. On top of that comes a maximum frequency of up to 60 MHz, which puts it above many portable generators and opens the door to more advanced applications.

One distinctive feature is the broad modulation support (AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PSK), usually found only on higher-class instruments. It makes it possible to simulate the complex signals typical of electronic communications and digital systems, which widens the range of uses considerably.

The TSG6020 also has advanced functions such as linear and logarithmic frequency sweep, arbitrary waveform generation with 14-bit resolution and internal memory, plus a built-in frequency counter up to 100 MHz. That last function lets the device be used not only as a generator but also as a measuring instrument, cutting the need for extra equipment.

The combination of a wide range of waveforms, dual channel, advanced modulations and analysis functions makes the TSG6020 a particularly complete solution in its class, suitable both for professional applications and for teaching and development environments.

2-channel 60MHz signal generator with touch display

2-channel DDS signal generator with frequency up to 60 MHz and a sampling rate of 200 MSa/s. Fitted with a 4.3″ touchscreen display, a rotary encoder and a keypad for precise control of the parameters. It supports standard and arbitrary waveforms with 14-bit resolution, suitable for laboratory work, testing and electronic development.

Full 2-channel control with 14-bit output

14-bit output for more accurate waveform generation and better signal resolution. Simultaneous handling of the 2 channels, with independent adjustment and the parameters shown straight away. It includes a 7-digit frequency counter, arbitrary waveform support and a sweep function for dynamic testing and frequency analysis.

High 14-bit precision and 200 MSa/s sampling

14-bit vertical resolution and a sampling rate of 200 MSa/s for accurate waveform reproduction. More detail in signal generation than low-resolution generators give, useful for precise analysis, testing on sensitive circuits and realistic simulations.

Full modulation set for advanced signal simulation

Full support for the main analogue and digital modulations (AM, FM, PM, FSK, ASK, PSK) for generating complex signals. It lets you simulate communication systems, test RF circuits and check digital devices, with plenty of flexibility in building custom waveforms.

Advanced technology for cleaner, more accurate waveforms

ZeroSurge and VeriPoint technologies improve signal quality over traditional DDS generators. ZeroSurge cuts overshoot and distortion on square waves, pulses and ramps, giving cleaner edges and greater accuracy. VeriPoint allows point-by-point generation of arbitrary waveforms with low jitter and higher signal fidelity, ideal for advanced testing and realistic simulations.

Built-in 7-digit frequency counter

Built-in frequency counter with 7-digit resolution, compatible with TTL signals. It allows direct measurement of frequency, period and duty cycle up to 100 MHz, so the instrument can also be used to analyse and check signals with no external device needed.

Dual channel, stable even at high frequency

Two independent channel outputs with a signal that stays stable even at high frequencies. It holds high amplitude and signal quality up to 60 MHz, which makes for reliable testing on RF circuits, digital systems and high-speed applications. Ideal for generating and comparing two signals at once.

Fast control with touch, encoder and keypad

Hybrid interface with a 4.3″ touchscreen display, a rotary encoder and a dedicated keypad for immediate control of the parameters. Quick adjustment of frequency, amplitude and offset without digging through menus. Tilt stand adjustable up to 90° for better visibility and long sessions on the bench.

Complete performance for electronic test and development

A complete instrument with frequency up to 60 MHz, 200 MSa/s sampling and 14-bit resolution for accurate signal generation. It includes dual output, advanced technologies for signal quality, a sweep function and an interface with both touch and physical controls. Designed to give operating flexibility in the laboratory, in development and in testing.
