Description

Designed to work with the Raspberry Pi model B+, this small driver, based on the Texas Instruments DRV8835 chip, can control two DC motors bidirectionally or one stepper motor. Motor supply voltage can range from 1.5 V to 11 V with a maximum current of 1.2 A per motor (1.5 A peak for a few seconds). It features reverse polarity protection. The driver is controlled using Raspberry Pi pins 5, 6, 12, and 13. Warning! It has been designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi model B+ and Raspberry Pi 2 type B; it is not suitable for Raspberry Pi model A or model B. The board is supplied with all SMD components already mounted, except for the connector and terminal blocks.
