Power supply module with a 3.7 volt 80 mAh battery.

SKU 7300-BLEBRPSItem type: Assembled, Shields & add-ons

Description

The Blebrick RPS is a power supply module that includes a micro-USB (Type B) charger for Li-Po / Li-Ion batteries and a 3.7 volt 80 mAh battery. The Blebrick RPS can be used to power other Blebricks from the Li-Po / Li-Ion battery, or from a 5 VDC power supply connected to the micro-USB (Type B) port. This Blebrick can also charge Li-Po/Li-Ion batteries.

Blebricks: instant prototyping for IoT, smart sensors and RFID

The Internet of Things is finally within everyone’s reach.

Blebricks are smart bricks built with a patented technology: assemble them and you create new electronic devices that talk to each other wirelessly.

This technology makes it possible to build devices even without any background in electronics or programming. Prototyping is instant, which is why it appeals to anyone who wants to turn an idea into a working device quickly and easily.

How does it work? It could not be simpler

Each Blebrick performs one specific function. You can choose from a wide range of sensors and actuators, such as: personal distancing sensors to limit the spread of Covid-19 in the workplace, motion sensors, environmental sensors, CO2 sensors, infrared sensors and air quality sensors, to name just a few.

To add the functions you need, simply snap the Blebricks together. They configure themselves automatically to work as one, and your device prototype is ready straight away!

You can read the sensor data and interact with it (locally, from your smartphone) using our MakeApp for Android devices. If you would rather build a custom app, you can do that with MIT App Inventor.

Finally, you can interact with your Blebricks wherever you are, simply by connecting them to the Internet and signing in to the Bricksboard portal.

Thanks to this highly innovative technology, you can cut development time and costs by more than 90% on the way from idea to product. And because they draw very little power, Blebricks are also suited to battery-powered, portable and wearable devices.

The modular nature of Blebricks makes the finished product cheaper and faster to build. Discover our Fast Route To Production.
