Clap Switch: Hand-Clap Switch with Monostable and Bistable Modes

Clap-operated switch with monostable and bistable relay output

SKU 7100-FK006Item type: Assembled, Kit,

Description

Switch lights and electrical devices on and off simply by clapping your hands! This handy Clap Switch picks up the sound of a clap and turns it into an electrical command by means of a sophisticated analogue circuit, with no programming and no wireless link needed. Ideal for anyone who likes things simple and practical, and for anyone who wants to impress with a vintage solution that still works beautifully today.

It can work in two modes:

  • Monostable: one clap switches the load on for an adjustable time from 1 to 110 seconds;

  • Bistable: one clap switches it on, another switches it off.

Perfect for controlling lights, fans, small appliances and other 12V loads, the Clap Switch is built from common, inexpensive parts and is completely independent of smartphones, WiFi and the home network. A reliable, instructive and genuinely useful way to make any room a little smarter, without the frills!
