Description

A shield designed for precise control of motor direction and speed, which makes it ideal for driving fans and similar loads. The shield is compatible with the Arduino UNO R3, R4 and MEGA boards, so it fits a wide variety of projects built on those platforms.

Built around the L9110 motor driver chip, the module lets you set the speed with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signals and reverse the direction of rotation, for running both clockwise and anticlockwise. The practical layout, with its mounting hole, makes it easy to combine with servo motors and other parts.

Its high efficiency makes the module useful in prototyping and robotics, and especially in teaching. It also carries overcurrent and overheating protection, for safer and more reliable operation.

To get projects moving quickly, sample code is available for download that drives the propeller from Arduino, making the whole thing even easier to approach.
