Description

This is a multi-purpose shield designed to make learning and experimenting with Arduino easier, ideal for anyone taking their first steps in electronics without having to deal with soldering or complicated wiring. Thanks to its compact, easy-to-use layout, all you have to do is download a demo program or write your own code to start hands-on experiments straight away. One of its most useful features is the set of extension ports, which offer further connection options and widen the range of experiments you can carry out.
Main features
  • Compatibility: works with the Arduino UNO R3, R4 and MEGA2560 boards, which makes it versatile for projects based on these platforms.
  • Indicator LEDs: two LEDs show the state of the program, handy for displaying results or monitoring code execution.Switches: two switches for external interrupt experiments, excellent for learning how to handle interrupts on Arduino.
  • Reset button: lets you reset the board easily without unplugging it.
  • DHT11 sensor: an on-board DHT11 sensor measures temperature and humidity, a great chance to experiment with environmental data.
  • Potentiometer: a potentiometer for analogue inputs, perfect for learning how to read analogue values with Arduino.
  • Passive buzzer: a passive buzzer for generating alarms or sound signals.
  • Full-colour RGB LED: an RGB LED for experiments with colour mixing.
  • Light sensor: an on-board sensor reads ambient light level, useful for light-related automation projects.
  • Infrared receiver: an IR receiver for remote control experiments over infrared.
  • I2C interface: an IIC interface for connecting modules that use the I2C protocol, such as LCD displays or additional sensors.
  • TTL serial pin: a TTL serial pin, useful for serial communication with other devices.
