Pololu USB AVR Programmer 3-in-1 – V2.1
SKU 8218-USBPROGAVREAN 8219671102445Item type: AssembledArduino compatible
Description
Pololu USB AVR Programmer version 2.1. Works as a USB programmer for all AVR microcontrollers programmable via the AVR ISP interface. The programmer also acts as a USB-to-TTL serial adapter and can also be used to update, replace, or remove the bootloader on Arduino boards and Pololu A-Star 32U4 boards compatible with Arduino. It is capable of working with 3.3 V and 5 V devices, and can be configured to provide power to the target device in low-power systems.
The programmer connects to the computer’s USB port via a USB (A) to micro-B cable (not included) and communicates with programming software, such as Atmel Studio, AVRDUDE, or the Arduino IDE, through a virtual COM port using the STK500 protocol. It connects to the target device via a 6-pin ISP programming cable (included). The firmware is updatable.
