Wixel Shield for Arduino

Description

Lets you connect Wixel wireless modules to Arduino (and other compatible products), program the board wirelessly (this feature does not work with Arduino Leonardo), debug sketches wirelessly with the Arduino serial monitor and communicate wirelessly with Arduino from a virtual COM port on your computer. The pack contains the shield, 2 male/female strips with 6 ways, 2 male/female strips with 8 ways, 1 male/female strip connector with 12 ways, 1 male/female strip connector with 11 ways and a button to reset the Arduino.
Please note: the Wixel modules are not included; they are sold separately under code 8218-WIXELPROG.

 

• Lets you upload the sketch wirelessly using the standard Arduino IDE
• Wireless serial communication between Arduino and a computer or other electronic devices

• Reset button for Arduino and pin 13 LED
• Four general-purpose voltage dividers that can be used to connect 5V outputs safely to the 3.3V inputs of the Wixel
• Two general-purpose MOSFETs (BSS138, N-channel, 50 V, 200 mA, maximum gate threshold voltage 1.5 V) that can be used as inverters, for example to convert a 3.3 V output to 5 V or to drive loads up to 200 mA. By default the MOSFETs are not connected to anything.

• Wireless Serial App for Wixel (version 1.3) configured for the Wixel Shield for Arduino (25k wxl) This Wixel application is a special version of the Wireless Serial App that has been configured to work well with the Wixel Shield for Arduino. This app allows wireless programming of an Arduino and also wireless use of the Serial Monitor.
