Description

USB-to-UART converter based on the FTDI FT232RL chip. It features a 6-pin connector (DTR, RX, TX, VSEL, CTS, and GND), a 4-pin connector (VSEL, GND, TX, RX), three status LEDs (TXD, RXD, power), and a solder bridge for 3.3V or 5V operation. The chip pins are also accessible through the side pads. The converter is powered directly via the USB port. Supports Windows XP, Vista, Win7 (32-bit and 64-bit) and is recognized by the computer as a virtual COM port. Particularly suitable for programming the Espress Lite V2.0 board (not included). Dimensions (mm): 50x21x10.
