Description

Based on the Toshiba TB6560AHQ chip, it can drive up to 3 bipolar or unipolar stepper motors with a current of 3 A (3.5 A peak). Via DIP switches, 4 motor control modes can be selected: full step, 1/2 step, 1/8 step, 1/16 step, and Decay Mode. Optoisolated inputs, output for connecting the relay that controls the spindle, 4-input interface for managing the XYZ axis limit switches and emergency stop. Can be used with unipolar or bipolar 2- or 4-phase stepper motors (4, 6, or 8 wires) up to 3 A max. Compatible with Mach3, Emc2, Kcam software and all parallel port systems.

The package includes the board complete with relay for spindle activation, 2-wire cable, and parallel cable for PC connection. Power supply: 12 to 36 Vdc – 5 A. Dimensions (mm): 175x146x30.

Note: software is not included (any software such as MACH3, KCam, etc. can be used), stepper motors and power supply are not included (see related products).

DIP Switch Settings

  • Motor control mode setting:
    1-2 = ON-ON: Full step
    1-2 = ON-OFF: 1/2 step
    1-2 = OFF-OFF: 1/8 step
    1-2 = OFF-ON: 1/16 step
  • Decay setting:
    3-4 = ON-ON: FAST
    3-4 = ON-OFF: 25%
    3-4 = OFF-ON: 50%
    3-4 = OFF-OFF: SLOW
