Description

The Raspberry Pi 5, the fifth generation from the Raspberry Foundation, is built around the quad-core 2.4 GHz Broadcom BCM2712 processor with 64-bit Arm Cortex-A76 architecture. It delivers advanced graphics performance with the VideoCore VII unit, supporting 4Kp60 HDMI with HDR. With 2 GB of LPDDR4X-4267 SDRAM, it provides plenty of headroom for multitasking. Connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0/BLE and USB 3.0/2.0 ports. With Gigabit Ethernet and PoE+ support, the Raspberry Pi 5 is ideal for demanding projects and advanced connectivity.

The Raspberry Pi 5 is the fifth generation produced by the Raspberry Foundation. At the heart of the Raspberry Pi 5 is the Broadcom BCM2712 processor, a quad-core running at 2.4 GHz and based on a 64-bit Arm Cortex-A76 architecture with cryptography extensions. Each core has a 512 KB L2 cache, alongside a shared 2 MB L3 cache. The VideoCore VII graphics processing unit supports the latest technologies, including OpenGL ES 3.1 and Vulkan 1.2, for outstanding rendering performance.

The Raspberry Pi 5 offers dual 4Kp60 HDMI video output with HDR support, so you can drive two high-resolution screens for multitasking projects or immersive gaming. The board also carries a 4Kp60 HEVC decoder for high-definition video playback.

With 2 GB of LPDDR4X-4267 SDRAM, the Raspberry Pi 5 gives you plenty of memory to run demanding applications and multitask effortlessly. Network connectivity is covered by dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0/Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) support, for reliable wireless links.

The Raspberry Pi 5 also has a full set of USB ports, including two high-performance USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. Gigabit Ethernet with PoE+ support (a separate PoE+ adapter is required) rounds out the networking options.
