Description

The Arduino Mega2560 Rev3 board is the ideal answer for projects that call for power and versatility. Built around the Atmega2560 microcontroller, this board offers a wide range of features that make it indispensable for electronics enthusiasts and for seasoned professionals alike.

With a full 54 digital inputs/outputs, 14 of which can be used as PWM outputs, and 16 analogue inputs, the Arduino Mega2560 Rev3 gives you plenty of connectivity and control. You can connect many sensors, actuators and external devices to build complex, interactive projects.

The board has 4 UART ports (serial ports) for talking to other devices, so connectivity is never a problem. It also carries a 16 MHz crystal oscillator for accurate timing.

The built-in USB connection makes interfacing with a computer straightforward, so programming and monitoring are quick and simple. Alternatively you can power the board from an AC/DC adapter or from a battery for stand-alone operation.

With 256 kB of Flash memory, 8 kB of which is used by the bootloader, and 8 kB of SRAM, you have room enough for your code and your data. The board also has 4 kB of EEPROM for storing information permanently.
