Description

Arduino Uno Rev3 is an electronic board based on the ATmega328 microcontroller. It has 14 digital input/output pins (6 of which can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header and a reset button.
It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. The UNO differs from all preceding boards in that it does not use the FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip but an ATmega16U2 programmed as a USB-to-serial converter.

Difference between Arduino Uno and Arduino Uno REV3

Added SDA and SCL pins next to the AREF pin and two new pins near the reset pin, including IOREF that allows shields to adapt to the voltage provided by the board. Replaced the ATmega8U2 microcontroller with the ATmega16U2.
