Description

Educational kit with illustrated guide and programming examples. Smart Eco House kit: a STEM kit that uses sensors and modules for automated, intelligent control. It includes the KS0486 Keystudio Plus board, Arduino compatible, and tutorials in C/C++ and KidsBlock. Supplied with an illustrated manual.
Built around programming languages, this Smart Eco House kit uses several sensors and modules to build automated, intelligent control. The Smart Eco House is based on the KS0486 Keystudio Plus board, fully compatible with Arduino. The Smart Eco House comes with tutorials in the C/C++ and KidsBlock programming languages, which introduce the project in detail and make the programming method, the logic and the electronic circuit easier to grasp. It not only improves practical skills, but also builds awareness of scientific and technological innovation and problem-solving ability, with a strongly practical and creative character.

The sensors and modules connect to the ports of the PLUS motherboard ( included in the pack ) using the handy cables supplied.

This STEM Smart Eco-Friendly House kit comes with an assembly and user manual, 56 colour pages full of illustrations, diagrams and thorough explanations.

Package contents
Open the box and you find six balsa panels (the classic modelling material) holding all the parts needed to build the structure, already cut out: a light push frees each piece. The clear roof section is instead made from a plexiglass panel, also pre-cut; the mechanical side is completed by screws, nuts, spacers, tubes, trays, cable ties and a plastic propeller, jumper wires for the connections, and a few small but very handy tools that are essential for assembly.

The electronics consist of:

  • KS0486 Keyestudio Plus board, fully compatible with Arduino UNO;
  • 16×2 LCD display with I2C interface;
  • RGB module;
  • PIR module;
  • Photoresistor;
  • XHT11 temperature and humidity sensor;
  • Keypad with five buttons;
  • Soil moisture sensor;
  • Water level sensor;
  • 5V relay module;
  • Passive buzzer;
  • UV sensor;
  • Electric water pump;
  • Solar panel with DC motor;
  • 6 x AA battery holder.
